Cassie Spieler | AIA | LEED AP

Founding Principal

Cassie Spieler is the founding principal of Tabula Architecture Studio, a multi-disciplinary architecture and design firm located in Brooklyn NY. Cassie is a graduate of Columbia College in NYC where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in East Asian Studies. She earned her Master of Architecture degree from the Columbia Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. 

Cassie spent 10 years working at Matthew Baird Architects where she led numerous high end residential and commercial projects. Cassie started Tabula in 2015 eventually partnering with Stephen Boehmke in 2018.


Stephen Boehmke | AIA | LEED AP


Stephen Boehmke is a principal of Tabula Architecture Studio. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Asian Studies from Colgate University where he focused in Mandarin Chinese. He subsequently earned his Master of Architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania where he was a fellow of the US Department of Education Foreign Language and Area Studies Program. 

Stephen's previous professional experience includes high end residential, institutional, arts, and retail projects with Gluckman Tang Architects, Morris Adjmi Architects, and Matthew Baird Architects. He has participated in design review juries at Parsons School of Design, the University of Pennsylvania School of Design, NJIT, NYIT, and Carnegie Mellon University.
